立秋這天,中國各地有著不同的風俗習慣。有人去“貼秋膘”,燉肉、烤肉、紅燒肉安排上,彌補炎炎夏日的食欲不振;北方流行“啃秋”,吃西瓜、香瓜,寓意“咬住秋天”,防秋燥;南方還有“曬秋”,把玉米、辣椒、稻谷晾曬出來,組成五彩斑斕的豐收景象,這既是保存食物的傳統方式,也形成了獨特的農耕文化。
立秋,是中國大地上的豐收彩蛋,不同地區的人們用各自的方式詮釋著豐收,共享著對大自然的感恩與熱愛。
Hi everyone, I′m the Rock from the Central African Republic. Today is Liqiu — the Start of Autumn in the traditional Chinese solar calendar.It may still feel like a sauna outside, but with autumn officially here, we can feel its coming day by day.
Across China, different regions have their own customs to welcome Liqiu.Some people “bulk up for autumn” by enjoying hearty meals like stewed meat, grilled meat, and braised pork—making up for the loss of appetite during the scorching summer.Up north, people have a tradition called kenqiu, or “biting into autumn.” They eat watermelon and muskmelon as a way to welcome the season and stay hydrated as the air starts to dry out.Down south, there’s shaiqiu, or “autumn drying,” when people lay out corn, chilies, and rice to dry in the sun, creating a colorful harvest scene. It’s a traditional way to preserve food— and over time, it’s become part of a unique farming culture.
Liqiu is like a surprise harvest gift for Chinese people. People around the country interpret the meaning of harvest through their own ways, while sharing a common gratitude and love for nature.
